Buchanan Public Relations Hires Nicole Lasorda as Account Supervisor

PHILADELPHIA (July 10, 2013) – Buchanan Public Relations, LLC, a full service public relations agency, has hired Nicole Lasorda as Account Supervisor. 

Nicole Lasorda, Account SupervisorLasorda has more than 12 years of experience in all aspects of public relations management, including media relations, brand recognition, speech writing, social media and event planning.  

“Nicole’s experience and knowledge in consumer and B2B marketing, combined with her enthusiasm for public relations, make her a perfect fit for our agency,” said agency President Anne A. Buchanan, APR.  “I am happy to welcome her to the Buchanan PR team.” 

Prior to joining Buchanan PR full-time, Lasorda was an independent communications consultant for a variety of agencies, retail brands and trade shows.

From 2001-2013, Lasorda worked at Barton Gilanelli. Starting as an Administrative Assistant, she quickly climbed to Account Supervisor, where she worked with clients in the aviation, travel, leisure, non-profit, technology and fashion industries.

Lasorda graduated in 2000 from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing. She was a writer for the Pitt News and a member of Theta Phi Alpha National Women’s Fraternity.

Lasorda is also actively involved with Red Paw Emergency Relief Team, where she transports and fosters pets displaced by disasters in their homes.
